The Mikoikoi (or Libertia) is New Zealand’s native Iris. Pure white three-petal flowers bloom in late Spring/early Summer on tall stems, surrounded by long slender leaves. Commonly, Irises symbolise hope, faith, courage and wisdom, bringing luck within some cultures.
Sterling silver flowers (ranging from 8-10mm diameter), with 10k solid gold centres. Sterling silver leaves (approximately 5mm x 50mm), hand painted with spring green porcelain paint, hang behind the flowers, from sterling silver hooks. The leaves are water and scratch resistant.
As each flower is hand fabricated, and each leaf hand painted, no two flowers or leaves are alike, and will differ slightly from shown in images.

I would be delighted if you wanted to wear my jewellery everyday, but please be aware that you will be able to enjoy your handpainted and 24k gold embellished pieces longer if they are not worn on a day to day basis.
