I developed my `Flight' bird series while we were in lockdown during April 2020 after seeing our local birds freely flying around, totally oblivious to the Human Pandemic.
My little Piwakawaka (NZ Fantail) flutters around after tasty insects in the warm afternoon sun.
Highly polished sterling silver bird (9mm x 16mm), soldered to an 8mm sterling silver lapel pin with a sterling silver pinch closure.
Please note: The gap between the Piwakawaka and the closure is 4mm, so this pin is best worn with thicker material.
