Rimurimu means seaweed in Te Reo Māori.
Did you know that Giant Kelp is one of the fastest-growing organisms on Earth, capable of adding an amazing 60 cm a day and measuring up to 45 metres long?! When healthy and abundant it absorbs more carbon than trees, and clarifies sea water, providing food and shelter for thousands of marine animals.
A sterling silver seaweed frond, curled into a spiral. Suspended from either a 45cm/18 inch or 50cm/20 inch sterling silver chain, with a hook closure and Lilygriffin name tag. Please choose your length from the drop down box (default is 45cm). For other lengths, please enquire.
The Sea Frond measures approximately 8mm across, and 4cm long including ring.
Each frond is curled by hand, so will vary from each other and the images shown.
