Rimurimu means seaweed in Te Reo Māori.
Did you know that Giant Kelp is one of the fastest-growing organisms on Earth, capable of adding an amazing 60 cm a day and measuring up to 45 metres long?! When healthy and abundant it absorbs more carbon than trees, and clarifies sea water, providing food and shelter for thousands of marine animals.
Sterling silver seaweed frond, hand painted with porcelain paint in turquoise and azure blue. Suspended from either a 45cm/18 inch or 50cm/20 inch sterling silver chain, with a hook closure and Lilygriffin name tag. Please choose your length from the drop down box (default is 45cm). The sea frond measures 8mm width x almost 5.5cm long (including ring).
